5 Online Businesses With Low Start Up Capital That Can Make You Rich

The Internet is the great equaliser. It has levelled the playing field, especially for businesses. Anyone can start a money-making online business—anyone with a computer, that is. No technical experience is needed. You don’t have to know how to build websites—although this in itself is a great skill to leverage. You can also live anywhere you want, set your own schedule.

It’s a truly democratic medium for entrepreneurship.

However, perhaps the best thing about the Internet is that unlike a brick-and-mortar business, you don’t need a lot of start-up capital. In fact, you can get many Internet businesses up and running with no money at all because so many free services facilitate the possibility. For example, you can set up a website or blog for free using WordPress.

Let's consider five of the top ways to make money online with little or no cost at all.

1. Drop Shipping

Basically, the idea behind an online drop shipping business is that, as a small business owner, you don’t have to maintain a large inventory of products or handle any delivery to your customers sometimes. You don't have to worry about: inventory, warehouse or even manufacturing.

Instead, you work with a company that specialises in drop shipping. Here’s how it works:

You just list products that are for sale on your IG page or if you can get a website up. After listing, customers order for a product, which you in turn order from Jumia at a cheaper price, Jumia will handle the shipping and delivery for you and you will not have to break a sweat.

2. Affiliate Marketing

Affiliate marketing is somewhat similar to drop shipping but with some key differences. With this model, you again don’t maintain an inventory of your own products, and you don’t have to worry about shipping products to customers.

Basically, you pick a profitable niche for your online business, and then you find an affiliate partner who has products available in that niche. Clickbank is one of the more popular sites.

You offer the products for sale, for example, on your blog or e-commerce website or your social media accounts. Each product has a unique link that tracks back to your account with your affiliate partner. A prospect who clicks on the link is taken to your partner’s shopping cart for checkout. Once they buy, that purchase is recorded and you receive a commission that’s all, no worries! i can teach you this business model step by step. just check the source of this article.

3. Blogging

If you have the expertise or passion or interest for a subject, you're ready to start making money with a blog. With a service like Blogger you can start up your blog totally free. You can also create your own site and secure your own hosting for a low price, which is generally the route I recommend.

What sort of content should you provide? Anything that is engaging to your prospect. How-to topics, top-10 lists, commentary on trends in your niche, tips and tricks articles—basically, you need to provide useful content. There's no shortage of ideas for your blog.

You can make money from a variety of ways in blogging

Affiliate Marketing
Google Adsense
Blog Ad networks
Customised ads from clients

4. Online Video

Have you watched a YouTube video lately? Of course, you have, after all, YouTube is the third most visited website in Nigeria according to Alexa!
You can leverage YouTube’s reach to make money online. No, you’re not trying to create a viral video, so to speak, although if it does go worldwide and is seen by millions, that’s a good thing.

Instead, you’ll be creating useful content…something engaging that people want to watch. It could be a how-to video, a talking-head video on a topic of interest to people interested in your niche. Or you could go the Lasisi and Maraji way, posting funny clips frequently.

You make money with ad revenue. You can enable magnetisation on your YouTube settings. Basically, this gives Google the go-ahead to include short AdSense ads with your videos, which you've seen if you’ve watched a YouTube video. When viewers click on those ads, you get paid.
Another opportunity to make money with a YouTube channel is through paid sponsorships. Build a large enough following and companies will be more than happy to pay you to promote or mention their products and services in your videos.

5. Information Products

When you have an Internet business, it doesn’t have to be about selling physical products. In fact, digital information products are one of the easiest and quickest ways to make money. Outside of affiliate marketing, it's probably one of my favourite ways to make money online.

There's no shortage of ways to create information products, but the most popular formats include:
Audio: a recorded teleconference, interview, course, or some other spoken-word product
Video: a recorded webinar, a how-to, an interview
Text: an ebook, an instruction booklet of some sort, a travel guide

In each of these categories, you can really get creative and make any type and format of content, as long as it’s engaging and useful.

above are all profitable online businesses that requires minimal start up capital. if you wish to start affiliate marketing profitably with clickbank here in Nigeria please check the article source.

Top 10 Questions For President Buhari Before 2019 Presidential Election

The 2019 presidential election is getting ever closer with many Nigerians getting politically involved as party or candidate supporters. Some are not yet sure if they will vote and who they will vote for if they eventually decide to do so. Regardless of your disposition towards the forthcoming election, it is important to have an insight into the thinking of the major candidates as they tend to dominate the discussion and are likely to be elected in comparison to candidates over smaller parties.

In an attempt to deepen the political discourse, I have compiled these 10 questions for President Muhammadu Buhari (and his campaign team) to answer. We are in the age of social media and I know his team is likely to see it. Answering these questions would go a long way in giving Nigerian voters insights into his candidature and what he hopes to achieve in another 4-year term if reelected.

Without wasting time, let us get started:

Top Question for President Muhammadu Buhari

What do you think about the in-fighting among your current or previous appointees? One example is the disagreement between the Minister of State for Petroleum, Dr Ibe Kachikwu and GMD of NNPC Dr Maikanti Baru.

Your health has been a major issue during your first term, do you feel healthy enough to go through the rigours of campaigning for a 2nd term and then governing thereafter?

There is ample evidence that you take a long time before taking important decisions, do you agree with this assertion? If yes, what is your motivation for this approach to governance?

What has surprised you the most in your first term as president?

How are you coping with the different demands of your party members whose interests might not be in congruence with each other and yours? An example is the clash between 2nd term governors and the senators they are seeking to replace in the Senate.

Many Nigerians are complaining of hardship during your first term, what is your response to this?

You are a retired general, what are your thoughts on the performance of the military and other security agencies in the fight against Boko Haram, criminality and the effort at quelling internal conflicts such as farmers-herders clashes in Nigeria?

Your wife, Hajia Aisha Buhari has at certain times come out to criticize your close associates and some party members including your party chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomole. How does this make you feel apart from your already expressed thoughts about “the other room”?

On a scale of 1-10, how would you score yourself in your first term?

How confident are you of winning the presidential election in 2019? Do you think your chances are better than they were in 2015?

Update On The Lagos Metro Railway - Photos

Aftermath of the postponement of the Lagos Metro Railway which is being funded by the Lagos State Government and the World Bank, the questions on the lips of Nigerians are are we going to abandon the project? Will the construction works stop? What will happen to Nigerians working on the site?

It was earlier reported that the Lagos State Government has announced that its light rail project running between Mile 2 and Marina will now commence passenger operation in 2022.

The mass transit rail project called the Blue Line awarded to China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation had suffered many delays due to paucity of funds and other challenges.

But the state government said that after a comprehensive review of the project, it had approved a roadmap proposed by its consultants to complete the civil infrastructure as well as the operation and maintenance infrastructure needed for the commencement of passenger operation in 2022.

“Following the report, Alstom SA France, who are experienced international railway systems aggregator and rolling stocks manufacturer, with over 100 years of railway experience covering 60 countries, was engaged to review the report of the consultant. Alstom SA agreed with the submission of the consultant that the first phase of the rail project could only become operational in 2022 based on proposed funding pattern,” it stated.

In its bid for investigative reportage, AutoReportNG was able to have access to some ongoing works at the various site, especially the Lagoon Bridge, and we can confirm that work is going on at the Marina axis but at a slow pace. We also got the layout map for the bridge that runs through the Eko Bridge into Marina.

What is Digital Marketing?
Digital marketing encompasses all marketing efforts that use an electronic device or the internet. Businesses leverage digital channels such as search engines, social media, email, and their websites to connect with current and prospective customers.

Choose A Niche In Digital Marketing
Each niche reflects a set of needs (we've reflected this in our list of niches)—the basic needs that every human being has.

The popular niches of Digital Marketing include
Content Marketing
Social Media Marketing
SEO
SEM & PPC
Affiliate Marketing
Analytics
Email Marketing
Influencer Marketing

And so on, you need to make sure you are an expert in one of the above then basic and intermediate knowledge on the others.

Become A Freelance Digital Marketer

Demonstrate your data-sharp thinking

Digital marketing relies on data and research to monitor audience insights and behaviour. Showcase your ability to understand data and turn survey results and other data into actionable plans. Your portfolio and description of past projects in your profile are great places to note your data-driven skills. Don’t forget to call out any platforms that you’re proficient in, such as Google Analytics or Looker.

Think beyond one project

It’s easy to move on to new projects once you’ve handed over the deliverables. But that’s a lost opportunity. Extend your value to the client by offering additional ideas they can use to improve their digital marketing. Say you’ve just finished researching SEO keywords for your client, you could suggest that they incorporate those keywords into their content and improve their page rank in search results—of course with your help!

Hone your personal brand

Whatever your digital marketing speciality is, clients will expect your personal brand to reflect the quality of work you’ll deliver. If your niche is social media marketing, it’s a good idea to post content to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn or other relevant channels that showcase your expertise and voice. If copywriting is your jam, be sure to triple check your profile and portfolio—a minor mistake in grammar or spelling could prevent you from winning projects.

Clear messaging is integral to selling your business, particularly because as a freelance digital marketer, you’re in the business of clear communication.

Gauge what a reasonable rate is

You may have heard that the rate you charge can set your business up for success or take it down a rabbit hole of financial troubles, and that’s not too far from the truth. Research what other freelancers with similar skills are charging as a starting point. Be honest about your skills and abilities. For instance, if you have two years of copywriting experience for B2C companies, don’t compare your rate to someone with 10 years of experience under their belt.

Be realistic about your rate to help secure projects. At the same time, don’t set your rate so low that you have to take on many extra projects.

Connect with other freelancers

Take the opportunity to learn from freelancers that specialize in the same or a related niche. They can share tips and tricks, as well as stories about working with clients, that can help you better serve your clients and grow your business.

while digital marketing is the current trend today, the key still remain to have an expert to put you through. i will not be able to teach everybody on this forum but i can teach the first few people at the source. please see the article source below.

Also, she did good by first adding some weight to enable her thighs look proportional with her new butt. There is nothing more faux pas than having butt implants on tiny thighs.
Way to go!
TOKE MAKINWA

Yea, we saved the best for last. Nigerian media personality, Toke Makinwa is the latest celebrity to have plastic surgery. Though she has not publicly acknowledged it,her latest photos say it all. Besides she has been sending out subliminal messages about loving her new body.

I love my body..She tweeted recently

They say a picture tells a thousand words ,so looking at Toke’s photo,we can be sure of two words, liposuction and Brazilian butt.

Pictured is Mohammed Yusuf, a member of the criminal gang, which stormed the Apo residence of Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu in Abuja in the early hours of Tuesday. According to reports, the suspect gained access into the bedroom of the senate leader.

The Police declared yesterday’s security incident at Ekweremadu's home as burglary and not an assassination attempt.

Giving an initial report of its investigation into the alleged assassination attempt on Ekweremadu, police spokesman Jimoh Moshood said four policemen, who were on duty at the time of the invasion of his home by the gunman, had been arrested.

A member of the Civil Defence Corp on duty there is also under arrest, he added.

The police said investigation revealed that the suspects burgled another house before getting to Ekweremadu’s home.

Also arrested is one Mohammed Yusuf from Kaura Namoda, Zamfara State. Another person simply identified as Ali had been declared wanted by the police in connection with the incident.

Moshood listed the items recovered from the suspect as including motor jack, big screw driver, big rod, a small kitchen knife and other house-breaking implements.

Keke NAPEP In Benin City Pictured

Just like in many urban centers in Nigeria, in Benin city, Edo state, the use of commercial motorcycle popularly referred to as "Okada" has been outlawed.

This ban has thus created a huge public transport demand that needed to be filled.

In other to satisfy that enormous demand in Benin city, especially in locations where commercial buses or cars do not ply, commercial tricycle (Auto Rickshaw) more popularly known as "Keke Napep" attempts to fill the gap.

Indeed, the demand for such means of transportation is high.

Perhaps,  as a result of the  huge demand for this mode of transportation, operators of Keke Napep in this ancient city got creative.

In Benin city, Keke Napep features contraptions designed to create an extra seat at the front row.

This unusual seating arrangement enables these tricycles to accommodate two passengers together with the rider seating in front, and with three other passengers at the rear seat.

Interestingly, the seating arrangement at the front seat  can be somewhat confusing to a visitor to the city, as determining who the Keke NAPEP rider is can be such a puzzle.

Suspected Herdsmen Kidnap Four Reverend Fathers In Delta

BY JIMITOTA ONOYUME

WARRI – Suspected herdsmen have kidnapped four Reverend Fathers in Abraka axis, Ethiope East local government area.

One of those whisked away by the kidnappers is Reverend Father Emmanuel Obadjere. Vanguard gathered from sources close to the Priests that the ugly incident occurred on Tuesday as they were descending the bridge in Abraka.

The clergy men were reportedly in four vehicles but the kidnappers allegedly forced two of the vehicles to a halt, ordering the occupants to alight
“Father Obadjere was travelling with his clergy friends to Ekpoma for their school’s old students meeting. The incident happened at Abraka as they were coming down from the bridge. It was on Tuesday.

They were in four vehicles. The kidnappers could not track the first two cars in front.

The kidnappers looked like Fulani Herdsmen. They abandoned the vehicles the Priests were driving in. So it was the Priests in the other two vehicles that alerted other Priests in Warri Diocese of the development.

Two of the Priests are from Benin arch diocese, one from Abuja and the other from Warri Diocese”

At press time, it could not be confirmed if the kidnappers had made any demand for ransom. Vanguard gathered they were however still in the custody of the kidnappers.

Breaking: Mikel Obi Ruled Out Of The Season With Muscle Injury

Super Eagles captain Mikel John Obi has been ruled out for the remainder of the CSL season after picking up a muscle injury in training.

The Super Eagles skipper did not participate in full training on Tuesday but jogged on the sidelines, fueling speculation that he is not in good physical condition.

The injury will come as a big blow for Tianjin coach Uli Stielike who will no doubt miss the services of the experienced midfielder with Tianjin Teda desperately looking for a win having gone their last 11 matches without a win.

Mikel hoped that his side will beat the drop despite their poor run of form.

“We are in a difficult situation right now. We know the importance of the remaining matches. I’m solidly behind the team and I believe the guys will do the job on the pitch and ensure we remain in the top flight,” Mikel said.

Mikel has featured in 18 league matches this season, scoring two goals and also setting up another 2.

He has, however, had physical and fitness issues since returning from the World Cup and has been limited to just 7 appearances compared to the 11 he featured in before the World Cup.

Tianjin is currently 15th on the 16 log table with 29 points from 28 points, level on points with Chongqing who currently occupy the 14th position on the table.

Dangote To Buy Another Club If Kroenke Doesn’t Sell Arsenal

Aliko Dangote, Africa’s richest man, had said he will consider buying a football club other than London-based Arsenal if controlling shareholder Stan Kroenke refuses to sell.

Dangote has long said he wants to buy the Premier League team, of which he’s a fan, but only after he’s completed one of the world’s biggest oil refineries in Lagos.

“By the time we’ve finished, we’ll be a $30bn company in terms of revenue,” he said in an interview with Bloomberg TV at the New Economy Forum in Singapore. “We’ll have an excess amount of cash to start playing around with.”

Kroenke owns almost all of Arsenal after buying Russian billionaire Alisher Usmanov’s 30 per cent stake in August in a deal that valued the club at about £1.8bn. It was funded with a £557m , two-year loan from Deutsche Bank AG. The 71-year-old American is worth $8bn, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, and also controls the National Football League’s Los Angeles Rams.

“I’m very attached to Arsenal but if he won’t sell, I might have to change,” said Dangote, 61 years old and worth $11.1bn. “I’m very much a fan of football. I have to have a club. I don’t have to own Arsenal.”

The refinery is scheduled to start producing fuel in early 2020, and Lagos-based Dangote Cement Plc will probably be listed in London around September next year, he told Bloomberg.
